Grant Program
The Legacy Ag Credit Grant Program is dedicated to supporting and empowering local agricultural programs in Northeast Texas. Through grants to FFA Chapters and 4-H Clubs within our service territory, we aim to foster the growth of future agricultural leaders, promote hands-on learning, and strengthen the agricultural community for generations to come.
Guidelines
Grant applications are accepted annually from September 1st to November 15th. All applications and supporting documents must be submitted by November 15th to be considered for funding in January. Legacy Ag Credit will award grants to Texas FFA Chapters and 4-H Clubs to support approved projects or facility improvements, covering up to 75% of the total project cost.
Applications may be submitted in one of three ways: dropped off at a local Legacy Ag Credit branch, emailed to grants@legacyaca.com, or simply completed using the online application below.
Grant Eligibility
To qualify, chapters/clubs must:
- Reside in Legacy Ag Credit’s 10-county territory (Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Hopkins, Kaufman, Marion, Rains, Upsher, Van Zandt, Wood)
- Provide a letter from the superintendent and/or additional funding sources.
- Submit a complete application, including a statement of need and detail of proposed project, by the required deadline.
NOTE: Grants will only fund up to 75% of the proposed project cost. Projects must be completed by September 1st of the funding year, with a progress report submitted in May of the same year. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from future grant opportunities.
