Legacy Ag Credit Announces $3,050,000 Cash Patronage Distribution to Customers

SULPHUR SPRINGS, Texas — Legacy Ag Credit, a trusted agricultural financing cooperative in northeast Texas, is excited to announce that it will be distributing $3,050,000 in cash patronage to its customer-owners based on the cooperative’s earnings for 2024. Checks will be mailed to borrowers on March 13th.

As a cooperative, Legacy Ag Credit operates with the goal of benefiting its member-borrowers, who are also co-owners. The cooperative returns a portion of the interest paid by borrowers on their loans, effectively reducing their interest rates for the previous year. Patronage payments are a unique perk of agricultural lending, providing financial rewards directly tied to the performance of the cooperative.

Since its founding, Legacy Ag Credit has consistently returned millions in cash patronage to its members, reinforcing the value of cooperative lending and supporting the agricultural community in northeast Texas.
