Legacy Ag Credit Awards $5,000 to Agricultural Programs

Sulphur Springs, Texas- Legacy Ag Credit, and agricultural lending cooperative, recently announced four grant recipients. 

Legacy Ag Credit awarded $5,000 in grant funding divided between four organizations to assist their efforts to support the next generation of agriculturists.  The following FFA programs received funding:

Mineola FFA- Funds will go towards purchasing W-W Paul Scales and Rice Lake 380 Synergy Digital Weight Indicator for the chapter.

Harmony FFA- Funds will assist in remodeling their existing greenhouse.  Planned improvements include updating/repairing the existing cooling system.

Hawkins FFA- Funds will assist in building their new, state-of-the-art observation beehive for their beekeeping program.

Sabine FFA- Funds will assist in purchasing a OPCOM Farm GrowWall3 Hydroponics System.
