Cody Bedell

Cody Bedell is Vice President of Lending based out of our Sulphur Springs location. He brings a wealth of experience to our team and a deep connection to agriculture. A graduate of East Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business, Cody grew up farming and ranching in Collin County and continues to raise registered Gelbvieh and Balancer cattle in Hopkins County. Before joining Legacy, he served as a mortgage and consumer lender for a financial institution in the Texas Panhandle. He has a lifelong passion for agriculture and is dedicated to serving his local community, from civic involvement to supporting local youth. He is actively engaged in the Sulphur Springs Chamber of Commerce, First Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs, and several agricultural organizations, including the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and the American Gelbvieh Association. Cody's commitment to agriculture and his community is evident in his various certifications, including Agricultural Science teacher, AWS Welding Inspector, NCCER Instructor, and Wildlife Education Instructor. Outside of work, Cody enjoys spending time on his family ranch with his wife and daughters, is an avid bowhunter, and loves to cook.
